Hello from Wisconsin!

In late June, my squad and I returned to Georgia, USA where we had time to debrief and celebrate the year. Then, I came back to Wisconsin.

It’s good to be home! The World Race was wonderful and beautiful, but there’s just something about home that is beautiful too. I’ve really enjoyed reconnecting with family and friends; and the scenery is amazing! I love being back in the rural Midwest.

As I’ve been meeting with people, one of the major topics that comes up is “What’s next for you?”

And the answer? Drumroll please…

I plan to be here in Wisconsin (minus some traveling to see family) until early August.

After that I’m heading back to Gainesville, Georgia to do a leadership and discipleship program with Adventures in Missions. It’s called CGA (Center for Global Action) and their vision statement for the program is “Know yourself. Lead yourself. Lead others.”

Through CGA, my hope is to grow in leading myself so that I might be of greater benefit to the body of Christ.

As with the World Race, if you feel led to support this next phase of my journey, there are several ways that you can be involved!

1) Pray. I know my life has been so impacted by the prayers of others, and I would love to have your support in prayer as I seek to learn and grow. If you would like to get prayer updates, please email me at [email protected] and let me know.

2) Donate. The bar at the top of this page has been updated to reflect the funds needed for the discipleship program I’m planning to attend. If you feel led to contribute financial support you can click on the orange “Donate!” button.

Thanks so much for your interest in my journey. It’s a wild and amazing thing, this walk with Jesus.

  1. I am sooo excited for you. I truly believe this “next” will help you live in a state of victory! Is the total at the top of the page for the first semester or the whole year? It seems pretty cheap for a year. Big things ahead lady!

  2. Hey Darla! The program is only one “semester” long or a total of four months.
